A Chiredzi based MDC Alliance activist has been abducted by state security agents for allegedly possessing a gun, ZimEye.com has been informed.

MDC Alliance sources in Chiredzi alleged that the activist, Mupwanyiwa, a cane haulage driver was abducted by state security agents who accused him of illegally possessing a gun.

” One of our members by the name Mupwanyiwa, a cane haulage was abducted for allegedly possessing a gun.

Mupwanyiwa was abducted after a Zanu PF activist had accused him of possessing a gun, following a political altercation between the two.

Our efforts to locate Mupwanyiwa have been futile,” said Mugova Tongai, an MDC Alliance official.
