By Paul Nyathi|Highly nomadic veteran politician Samuel Sipepa Nkomo has dumped the Joice Mujuru led National People’s Party and found his way back to the MDC-T led by Nelson Chamisa.
Sipepa Nkomo was paraded by the MDC-T together with the NPP spokesperson Jefferson Chitando as welcome returnees to the MDC-T on Tuesday.
Sipepa Nkomo left the MDC-T in 2015 after he led a rebellion against then leader Morgan Tsvangirai to establish the MDC Renewal. At the time he was the National Chairperson of the party.
He later led another breakaway from the MDC Renewal against Elton Mangoma to establish the People’s Democratic Party with Tendai Biti. He further dumped the party within a year to join the NPP led by Mujuru where he was controversially elected as the Vice President.
