By Paul Nyathi|Newly appointed Deputy Minister of Information Energy Mutodi has warned MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa that government will not take lightly his supposed inauguration set to take place on Saturday.

Chamisa revealed to MDC Alliance supporters at the weekend that he will have himself inaugurated as the People’s President at Gwanzura Stadium on Saturday when the MDC holds its 19 years celebrations since its founding in 1999

Mutodi took to his Twitter account to fire shots at Chamisa.

“Gvt is following with keen interest the inflammatory statements being passed by Nelson Chamisa including his claim that he will be inaugurated on Saturday. Any attempt to delegitimize gvt will not be tolerated and those bent on causing anarchy will be dealt with mercilessly,” said Mutodi a top aide to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
