Jane Mlambo| Zanu PF’s Mabel Chinomona is battling against MDC Alliance nominated Morgan Komichi for the position of President of Senate in the elections currently underway in the upper house.

Earlier in the day, Jacob Mudenda was retained as Speaker of Parliament after defeating Paurina Mupariwa who had been nominated by the MDC Alliance.

With Zanu PF also dominating the senate, Chinomona is likely to sail through with little resistance from the opposition.
