Terrence Mawawa| Dynamos FC coach Lloyd Chigowe believes the violent conduct by the club’s fans cost them the Chibuku Super Cup semi-final match against Triangle United on Sunday.

The Glamour Boys lost 2-1 as they failed to reach the final of the tournament.

Unruly home fans housed at the Vietnam end hit second assistant referee Joseph Salani with missiles, injuring his ankle. Salani had to be replaced by fourth official Arnold Ncube, causing an eight-minute stoppage.

“We appreciate the support we get from the fans but they should also learn to control their emotions. Their behaviour affected the momentum of the game because when they started throwing missiles we were on top of the situation and we could have gotten the equaliser,” said Chigowe.

Dembare found themselves on the back foot as early as the 6th minute after Kudazi Chigwida headed in a cross from Russel Madamombe before Lameck Nhamo doubled. the lead moments later. Marshall Machazane pulled one back for Dynamos, but Triangle remained resolute at the back until the final whistle.
