Terrence Mawawa|Warriors were involved in a scare when the plane they were on experienced “unexpected turbulence” on their way back to Zimbabwe.

However Zifa communication manager Xolisani Gwesela has said the team is safe and has rubbished rumours of a plane crash.

The incident is believed to have happened between Sierra Leon and Ghana.

The national team was coming from Liberia following their Afcon qualifier which they lost 1-0 on Sunday.
