Jane Mlambo| MDC Deputy President, Elias Mudzuri left Africa Unity Square in a hurry after supporters booed him as he was introduced by Organising Secretary Amos Chibaya.

Mudzuri who was at that particular time, the most senior party member was invited to meet supporters by Chibaya but it did not end well as he never uttered a single word amid boos and jeers from the crowd who accused him of selling out.

A visibly irate Mudzuri stood still hoping the jeers would die for him to chant the party slogan but it grew louder and louder forcing him to hand back the microphone to Chibaya.

He went back to where Standing Committee members were standing and none of them showed support for him and later asked Chamisa’s Chief Security aid to escort him out of Africa Unity Square where he got into his already waiting car and left at high speed.

He was earlier this week embarassed again by party deputy Treasurer and Secretary for Elections Charlton Hwende and Murisi Zwizwai respectively after he attended a parliamentary function at the State House.
