By Own Correspondent| Upon noticing that one of her grade six pupils was missing school, a teacher at Kifubwa School in Solwezi, Zambia intervened and is teaching with the minor’s little brother on her back after it emerged that the girl could not attend school because she was taking care of her sibling.

The teacher, identified as Ms Chisanga Zulu got concerned after noticing that her pupil was constantly missing school. After visiting the girl’s home, it emerged that the pupil could not attend school because she was taking care of her siblings including her little brother.

The teacher, consulted with the school administrator and it was suggested that the grade 6 pupil brings her little brother to school in order to attend classes.

During classes, the teacher straps the baby on her back in order to allow the pupil to concentrate on her school work.
