Jane Mlambo| Zanu PF National Chairperson, Oppah Muchinguri has admitted that the party primary elections exposed sharp divisions in the ruling party.

Addressing the Zanu PF Annual Conference in Esigodini yesterday, Muchinguri said the party was shaken during primary elections. This is amid suspicions that a residue of the G40 faction is still haunting the ruling party to this day.

“We had our primary elections where people were shaken a bit and this is the time to forget the past and strengthen the party as well as celebrate our victory in the harmonised elections,” said Muchinguri.
