Farai Dziva|The MDC A Mashonaland West Provincial Executive is fully behind party leader Nelson Chamisa in spite of attempts by external forces to push the youthful leader out of office.

Below is the full statement that has been released by the MDC A Mashonaland West Provincial Executive:

The MDC Mash West Provincial Executive Committee met today( yesterday)and unanimously reaffirmed its unwavering support for the People’s President Hon Advocate Nelson Chamisa who carries the voice and backing of 2,6 million Zimbabweans.

The PEC is quite cognisant of ZANU PF machinations to derail and continuously delay change as evidenced by a barrage of systematic attacks on the person of President Chamisa by ZANU functionaries,proxies and Judas Iscariots- which culminated in a theatrical interview last night on ZBC TV.

We are quite aware of these functionaries’ shenanigans-they are being sponsored to destroy the party but that is just mere wishful thinking.

As a province, our attention is on fulfilling the people’s agenda.

It is this vision which was inherited by President Chamisa that we will protect with our all.

The Mash West PEC guards President Tsvangirai’s legacy jealously and we believe this legacy is only safe under President Chamisa’s leadership as he is the one who has walked along the road to freedom – with our late but great Founder and icon Dr Tsvangirai.He has been there and he will betray the values and principles of the poor people’s struggle.

We stand ready to defend the people’s struggle and protect l the president from all evil machinations.
