Farai Dziva|MDC A Masvingo Provincial chairperson James Gumbi has threatened to fire party members who attempt to block his quest to seek reelection.

Gumbi warned party members during a provincial meeting in Masvingo on Wednesday those who had the guts to stand in his way would be chucked out of the party.

“Those who are going to be elected at ward ,branch or district levels – should support me. I will personally remove those who do not support me from the structures.

I have the authority to approve or disapprove you.

My organising çommittee is answerable to me alone,” said Gumbi.

“People like Damba and Mushonga- even if your respective districts elect you to any post I will remove you from the list.

Even if you approach the national executive if I have removed you from the position hauna kwaunoenda .Mai Matara ndakamubvisa uripi izvozvi?Manyanye ndakamubvisa pane chakauya?This is my province.VanaMatutu takavharira pazhe during candidate selection saka ndokuzotadza PaCongress?” Declared Gumbi.
