By Own Correspondent- The meteorological services department has assured the country that the feared second cyclone will not hit Zimbabwe or the continent.

The state media reports:

“Zim’s Met Dept allays fears of yet another cyclone in the country and SADC. Metereological Services Department Spokesperson, Tich Zinyemba said Cyclone Joanina, detected in the Indian Ocean, is not even closer to Madagascar and while powerful, projections show that it will re-curve back into the ocean.”
