Mudenda Defends Appointment Of SB Moyo’s Wife To Head Anti-Graft Body

Parliament’s Committee on Standing Rules and Orders (CSRO) has stood by President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s somewhat dubious appoint as ZACC Chairperson of Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo wife to Foreign Affairs Minister Sibusiso Moyo.
Zimbabweans have been condemning her appointment claiming that she was proposed as Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission chair on the strength of her marriage and not on her skill, experience, ability and integrity.
In a statement published by the parliament’s Speaker Advocate Jacob Mudenda, he says women’s careers should not be limited by their marriages as that is gender inequality.
