Farai Dziva|Respected political analyst Dr Pedzisai Ruhanya has called on the country’ s main opposition party MDC A to avoid the fielding of double candidates in future elections.

“2023 is on the horizon. MDC refuses to learn from proven irrefutable empirical evidence of how they lost many constituencies and councils in 2013, 2018 in places like Masvingo, Bulawayo, Mat South as a result of double candidates. Don’t blame rigging for such things,” said Dr Ruhanya.

” There are LOTS of power hungry delinquent elements in the MDC whose agenda is not the uplifting of the downtrodden in society but POWER AND MONEY. LOOKING FOR JOBS in politics!”

“The outcome of Bulawayo council by-election shows that like the Bourbon Monarch, the MDC has learnt nothing and forgotten nothing, hence their fielding of double candidates, greed for power, the will to power vs the will to transform. ITS ABOUT STOMACH POLITICS not reform agenda.”
