The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new fuel prices which will take effect on 08 April.

ZERA said in a statement: “The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority advises that in terms of Statutory instrument 10 of 2019, the applicable FOB prices for the starting on 01 April 2019 and 08 April 2019 are summarized in the table below:

The last fuel price hikes of 150% effected at the beginning of the year by President Mnangagwa led to protests which saw at least 17 people dead and hundreds arrested for various crimes.
