Chamisa’s Promise To Police

Jane Mlambo| Opposition MDC leader, Nelson Chamisa has vowed to improve the welfare of police officers once elected into office.
Speaking at the Morgan Tsvangirai memorial service on Saturday last week, Chamisa said police officers had done well to maintain order at the event promising to ensure they would not be transported in open trucks once elected into office.
“When we get into government, we will make sure police officers do not move around in open trucks,” said Chamisa sending the whole 5000 plus crowd into frenzy.
Government deployed police officers to provide security at the Morgan Tsvangirai memorial.
