Farai Dziva|The government has barred Chief Felix Ndiweni from participating in key national programmes, it has emerged.

According to Bulawayo Provincial Affairs Minister Judith Ncube the government has no time for the chief.

She has also pointed out that Chief Ndiweni is not like Chief Fortune Charumbira, president of the Chiefs’ Council.

“The Vice President(Kembo Mohadi) is meeting all the chiefs from Mat North.

As you are aware that he is the one in charge of peace and reconciliation in government, so he wants to hear from them the issues affecting them and the challenges they are facing.

… We don’t have time for Ndiweni. Who is he to be put on our agenda? We don’t have time for him, he is just a mere chief like any other. It’s not like he is Chief (Fortune) Charumbira, so nothing is important about him,” Ncube told Daily News.
