By Own Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa is this morning officially launching the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) at the Harare International Conference Centre.

PRAZ, which was formerly the State Procurement Board has had its function rationalized so that it superintends over procurement entities.

Said PRAZ board chairperson Vimbai Nyemba in her address:

“The new institution came as a result of the enactment of the Public Procurement and State Disposal Act which seeks to ensure that public procurement is done transparently.”
