Farai Dziva|Tajamuka leader Promise Mkwananzi has said Emmerson Mnangagwa is solely responsible for the “heinous crimes” against human rights defenders.

See Mkwananzi’s statement below :

The leader of the Teachers movement Obert Masaraure was abducted and severely tortured by state agents at midnight.

Our resolve for a better Zimbabwe is and remains unshaken. Our search for justice against those who perpetrate these dastardly acts remain very solid. We will continue to use peaceful and non-violent methods to pursue a better and greater Zimbabwe and to search for more democratic and compassionate leaders who will treat the citizens of this country with respect and humanity.

We hold President Mnangagwa and his illegal illegitimate and criminal government directly responsible for these heinous crimes. We continue to insist on the urgent need for an all inclusive national dialogue to resolve the escalating economic and political crisis and we hope and pray that the regional and international community will exercise their duty to protect unarmed and defenceless citizens and human rights activists in Zimbabwe.
