Lynette Karenyi-Kore Urges MDC Supporters To Unite For Sikhala

Agents|MDC female Vice President Lynette Karenyi-Kore has urged MDC supporters to continue fighting for the freedom of the people of Zimbabwe regardless of the arrests that are being conducted by the state on MDC officials.

Karenyi-Kore who is out of the country said, “I am currently not around on work business but my heart and thoughts are with Hon. Sikhala and Gift Ostalos Siziba.These incomprehensible selective arrests and detention of leaders of the opposition members fill us all with deep pain. But we are reminded again that acts like this only strengthen us. Together to the end. In God we trust.”

She further urged all MDC supporters to remain in solidarity with arrested lawmaker Job Sikhala and Youth Secretary General Gift Siziba.

“To all of our sisters, brothers in the MDC and affiliate unions I join you in solidarity with MDC Vice Chair Hon. Job Sikhala and Youth SG Gift Ostalos Siziba. We must continue to fight for what we believe is right. Freedom must come in our lifetime. I thank you all who are in solidarity  with our leaders.”

Sikhala who was transported to Masvingo on Wednesday is facing a  charge of plotting to subvert a constitutionally elected government and faces up to 20 years in prison.
