It is without shock to receive the news that my boss Hon Thabitha Khumalo, the National Chairperson of our party has been arrested for allegedly contravening Section 31(b) ii(A) of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act.

The offense insinuates that an accused person should have deliberately spread falsehoods knowing that he or she knows it to be false.

I don’t care about the stupid charge, but want to bring it to everyone attention both locally and abroad that the MDC leadership is under serious siege from the fascist, illegitimate regime of Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Since the formation of the MDC in 1999, at no point in its history has it had its leadership under attack than what it faces today. The illegitimate regime of Emmerson Mnangagwa has taken joy in hounding the leadership of the party.

Spurious and stupid charges are preferred against almost everyone in the party, the latest being the one preferred against our National Chairperson.

It is now clear that illegitimate Emmerson Mnangagwa wants to kill, squeeze and destroy all the democratic space for Zimbabweans. What hounds him is his illegitimacy.

He knows well deep down his heart that he did not win the elections. He is on a crusade to force himself upon the people of Zimbabwe, which we must all reject in unison.

The illegitimate fascist leader underestimates the resolve among the people of Zimbabwe and the MDC leadership to weather his oppression.

Hon Thabitha Khumalo is a strong woman. She will neither be intimidated or cowed by the shenanigans of a desperate despot.

No amount of arrests or intimidation will stop us from demanding our stolen victory. Free Thabitha Khumalo now.
