By Own Correspondent| Gunmen reportedly visited human rights campaigner, Makomborero Haruzivishe late Saturday evening.
He was not at home at the time when he says his landlord and neighbours were awoken when the untold number of men descended onto the property.
It is believed the reason Mako is being targeted is a tweet he made concerning a missing
“Woke up to see 13 missed calls from my landlord and neighbours,” he wrote.
He continued saying, “just called them back and they telling me armed men came looking for me just after 2300hrs.
“Thank God they did not harm anyone or damage anything and also that they did not find me home.”
The development comes as ZANU PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa verbally attacked civil society organisations saying they must “restrict themselves to their mandate. ” It also comes as the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference opened under the theme: “BUILDING INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES”
