By Jane Mlambo| United Kingdom Ambassador to Zimbabwe Melanie Robinson has stocked pressure on the government of Zimbabwe over the disappearance of political activist Itai Dzamara saying the state should ensure his family gets answers on his whereabouts.

Dzamara was abducted by suspected state security agents five years ago and has not been found.

Posting on Twitter, Robinson said they were concerned that Dzamara remains missing five years after his abduction on March 9 2015.

“Deeply concerned that five years on Itai Dzamara remains missing. His family deserves answers and justice. There can be no impunity for abductions and human rights violations,” said Robinson.
