A) I BERIAS BRIAN TRUST MARI a male adult Zimbabwean citizen by birth hereby declear the following:-
1) I have no arms or ammunition or sponsor but myself desire to uphold and defend my country and it constitution.
2) I know for a fact the The Defence Forces are the only lawful military forces in Zimbabwe. I shall depend on them to protect me from any form of security threat because all our arms and ammunition as nation a bestowed in their hands.
3) I also know for a fact that all security departments have an obligation to respect the fundamental rights and freedoms of all persons and be non-partisan, national in character, patriotic, professional and subordinate to the civilian authority as established by the Constitution. I just remind them to abide by their oath of offices.
4) I know for a fact that police has a duty to:-
a) detecting, investigating and preventing crime;
(b) preserving the internal security of Zimbabwe;
(c) protecting and securing the lives and property of the people;
(d) maintaining law and order; and
(e) upholding this Constitution and enforcing the law without fear or favour.
With this in mind I put all bare that which I intend to do on 31 July which is not a crime by a right. I expect them to abide by their duties during the time of our demonstrations.
5) I am very aware of my freedoms and limits and I also know my duty to respect property of others and my conduct is going to be guided by the constitution.
6) I am also guided by preamble of the constitution as well as values and principles.
B) The objective of the event of 31 July is to reclaim our sovereign authority which is vested in the legislator, executive and judiciary for charges which shall be presented on the day.
C) I have no other hidden agenda other than to see to it that the obligations imposed by the Constitution are binding on every person, natural or juristic, including the State and all executive, legislative and judicial institutions and agencies of government at every level, and must be fulfilled by them.
