ZDRAVKO ‘Loga’ Logarusic is impressed with the Zimbabwe forward line saying it has the potential to be the talk of African football.

Zimbabwe’s attacking options have been on top of their game – grabbing headlines – in various leagues around the world, particularly Europe, and that has left Logarusic believing.

“I have said it before that we have a very good striking line that will be talked about. It will be very interesting in the future for Zimbabwe especially when these international games start.

“A number of them are doing well in Europe, we have good strikers in South Africa, in Zimbabwe and other leagues because I follow most of them,” Loga told H-Metro.

Tino Kadewere and Macauley Bonne have been on fire for their respective clubs, scoring a combined total of 32 goals in 2019-20 season.

Kadewere, now with Lyon in the French top-flight, was scoring for fun at Le Havre in the second division of the same country – banging 20 goals in 24 games to win the golden boot.

Bonne also had a good season at Charlton Athletic in the English Championship – scoring 11 in 33 appearances – though his efforts were not enough to save the team from relegation.

His exploits at the Addicks has seen him attracting interests from a number of clubs in England’s top two divisions.

Another Zimbabwean forward, David Moyo, who plays for Hamilton Academical in the Scotland top division has also caught the attention of Logarusic.-H-Metro
