Combined Harare Residents Association (CHRA) and Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) have to wait a bit longer for the verdict after filing an urgent chamber application praying the court to order an end to ZUPCO monopoly by allowing other transport operators to resume operations.
High Court judge Tawanda Chitapi reserved his judgment on the matter.
Women and Law in Southern Africa represented CHRA and PAZ. The acting Health Minister of Health at the time, Amon Murwira, Transport minister Joel Matiza and ZUPCO were cited as respondents.
