Mdc Alliance Namibia donates to the incarcerated Lengwani and Munyaradzi.

Social democrats who subscribe to Constitutional Democracy under the able-leadership of President Advocate Nelson Chamisa Wamba Dia Wamba joined their pieces together in solidarity with the two victims of Zanupf-sponsored violence on innocent citizenry.

Social transformers in Namibia hurriedly mobilised US$200 to give financial support to the families of the duo following the denial of bail. Munyaradzi and Lengwani fell victim to Zanupf’s insatiable appetite to decimate opposition forces by harassing those who give solidarity to those who have the varlour and nerve to challenge Zanupf corruption and gross abuse of human freedoms.

The two social democrats were tortured and arrested for giving solidarity to our Vice-Chairperson firebrand , Hon Job SaroWiwa Sikhala. Last year, Mdc Alliance Namibia also came to assist Terrence Manjengwa who was also illegally arrested for demanding justice to Saro Wiwa Sikhala at the same captured court. Manjengwa languished in prison for more than 60 days and his family wanted some financial assistance. Mdc Alliance Namibia urges all external Mdc Alliance branches, districts and provinces to give material and financial support to our footsoldiers who are enduring incessant incarcerations and high levels of human butchery at the hands of the desperate and clueless Harare regime.

Solidarity is a core value in Social Democracy. We shall do everything within our means to continue supporting those who are ready to embrace participatory democracy. Mdc Alliance Namibia will soldier on with this nature of solidarity and immediate support to the victims of Zanupf thugocratic tendencies.

Bail is a right enshrined in the 2013 constitution but the duo was denied it after being beaten thoroughly under the feet with acid poured on their faces especially Lengwani. The pictures and videos of the two went viral on social media struggling to walk as a result of state-sponsored violence.

In a nutshell, lets all give support to progressive citizens who are ready to hold dictatorship to account for the selective application of the law.

Zimbabweans in the country and the diaspora must constitutionally demand an abrupt end to corruption and abuse of human rights. We demand the immediate release of Munyaradzi and Lengwani, attending a court session is not a crime. #ZanupfMustGo
