By Business Reporter | ZimEye | Bruno Furnitures’ lay buy purchase system has come under the test amid complaints that the company is duping diaspora clients.

Bruno (Leo Kambanga) has initiated a program using the controversial socialite Mai Titi who presents his products for expats.

In the footage, offers are made for buyers to purchase via a lay by facility.

If the system worked, it would provide furniture ownership paths for returning residents.

Upon telephoning the man, a male voice answers claiming that they are an employee.

“Can I please talk to Bruno,” the employee is asked, to which point they sound in the other line plays out as if the handset is being given another person.

Sooner than later, ‘another’ male voice blows in to announce, “Hello!, it’s Bruno speaking.

By this time Money has been paid being the first US$100. A new announcement is however made that the sofas that have been paid for will not be released at any time until after over 80% of the total price has been paid. This is a new condition that was never part of the promissory to transact.

Complaints are raised with the man, and he later sends an sms over, “Okay sorry for the inconvenience mother pamwe mamusina kuudzwa in details henyu im not blaming you isusu kana munhu akat arikuita laybuy anozotora apedza or 80% im sorry for that and our durability lay buy is 6 months only to pay ndomashandire tinoita i think ndopangotika error chete ipapo.”

The program reads more like the Qoki fake land sales and certainly like Mai Titi’s fake housing scheme.

The choice of the violent fraud convict Mai Titi as the marketer may be more than prophetic of what is set to happen to the tens of thousands being poured into to Bruno’s pockets.- ZimEye
