By Terrence Mawawa| FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is determined to make an impression in the 2018 edition of the African Champions League.

Mapeza has already stepped up efforts to bolster his squad ahead of Africa’ s Premier Club Competition.

Club sources said imposing Cameroonian player Albert Eonde was in Zvishavane for trials while Ghanaian player Ibrahim Dauda was expected to arrive in the country for trials next week.

A member of the FC Platinum technical team said Mapeza was determined to lift the African Champions League Trophy.

“We have so far managed to sign Liberty Chakoroma from Ngezi Platinum and Kelvin Madzongwe from Harare City.

We are also targeting Highlanders midfielder, Rahman Kutsanzira,” said a club official.

The soft spoken Mapeza urged soccer fans to rally behind the Zvishavane based miners.
