MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai was yesterday attacked for wearing a hat during prayer time.
This was at the Itai Dzamara prayer rally at Zimbabwe Grounds in Machipisa.
“Why is he the only person wearing a hat during prayer time when there is no reason for wearing a hat on this cold Saturday”? asked one attendant.
This came as Tsvangirai was also criticised for ignoring the disappearance of several other MDC activists he has personally blamed on both Jabulani Sibanda and Temba Mliswa who he co-hosted the prayer function.
The below was written by one Frank Morris Mutize:
“May you please allow me to ask Cde Chalton Hwende, Cde Job Sikhala one question concerning yesterday’s Itai Dzamara rally?
My question to the former comrades is:
“As you where in the prayer sessions with Jabulani Sibanda and Themba Mliswa, did you get to spare a minute to just ask Cde Jabulani Sibanda where he put our own Shepherd Jani who was abducted by four man who were using his blue Mazda twin cab?
“Did you spare a second to ask Cde Jabulani Sibanda what happened to all our cadres who disapppeared in Masvingo and other parts of Zimbabwe?
“This reminds me of the time Theresa Makone was the minister of Home Affairs, she ran from Zambezi to Limpopo looking for Mutasa’s son who was arrested for fraud whilst our own Solomon Madzore, Last Tamai Maingehama, Yvonne Musarurwa were perishing in prison.
“This reminds me of how Morgan Tsvangirai kept on drinking tea with Mugabe while our fellow democratic fighters were suffering in the hands of ZANU PF.
“Comrades and friends it’s time for us to open our eyes and see the great betrayal by a man we thought was the front-runner of the democrats.”

This day was an Itai Dzamara day which was organised by many people. To the writer why did you also attend the same meeting which was attended by Temba Mliswa, and the other Zvipfukuto.
And i say to Cde Jabulani Sibanda this is a Big betrayal to ZIPRA/ZANLA Cadres to seen being hosted by the Western Imperialist puppets sharing the platform with the likes of Mr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai…..this young man (Jabulani) doesn’t know what he is doing and doesn’t know what he wants….he just forget quickly….Mr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai have piles of grudges against Warveterans as on of the days he said once he comes to power he will take all these Former Fighters to the Internationa Criminal Court because they are murderers/Rapist and so fort….What is Cde Jabulani Sibanda pleasing to these puppets…if i was me (Jabulani) i was not to entertain this rubbish….
i did not read this story because the headline itself is disgusting. Zimbabweans, hear me, we are spending a lot of time concentrating on silly issues. Whether or not someone wear a hat – is that an issue? Look we are slowly turning our country into oblivion because we direct our efforts of silly issues! Look at what is happening in the country, our policies are miss directed, our policies ……. Wake up Zimbabwe, focus on key issues, we want to prosper and go BIG!!!
Tsvangirai gave the opportunity to contest elections to exiles such as Eric KNIGHT,at the expense of those who suffered at the hands of Chipangano after the likes of Eric deserted the struggle. He may accept Mliswa and Sibanda into the MDCT Executive COUNCIL or even as representatives of his party at the next elections . Ko chii nhai?
When I paused one such question some time ago, I was labelled a selous scout, an antidemocrat who was jealous of MTs popularity. The man is power hungry and plainly despotic, so much he thinks he is more equal than others. No wonder it has taken us this long to reach the promised land.
Tsvangirai’s willingness to forgive and forget those who have been responsible for serious human rights abuses goes beyond the simple notion of forgiveness, it smacks of one who would employ Jabulani Sibanda and Themba Mliswa to use the same dirty tricks to further his own selfish political ends!
