US Envoy Says Mnangagwa Deserves A Chance

By Farai D Hove| The United States ambassador Harry Thomas Jnr says President Emmerson Mnangagwa deserves  chance.

“Well I think the new government deserves a chance. We would like to see how well they perform,” he told the Voice Of America Studio 7 channel.

He also spoke about the economy saying it won’t happen in 6 months time.

“I think it will be difficult for any person to chance the economy in 6 or 7 months…,” he said.

On issues of personal freedoms, ambassador Thomas said, “the Zim President has promised…I met the Foreign Affairs Minister and he also promised it’s not going to happen and we are going to hold them to their word.” – WATCH THE FULL VIDEO BELOW:

  1. Surely our new President and his crop of ministers need to be given a chance as no change can be achieved over night. Judging from the president`s State of the nation address he meant business. What is left is to implement his policies especially on corruption and resuscitation of the economy. Go Chikara Go. God will guide you lead this great nation
