Kingdom Bank founder and one of ZANU PF’s cream of the crop, Nigel Chanakira has dimissed claims in the Jonathan Moyo controlled media that he is a coup plotter with a group of so called “Mujuruites”.
The Sunday Mail published a story piling random allegations and naming Chanakira, claiming that he is part of those who attempted to remove President Robert Mugabe.
The allegations, spread in a scattered blurry pattern, alleged Chanakira attended recent meetings to remove Mugabe, albeit at a time when he was not even in Zimbabwe at the time.
The story written by a faceless character named only as “Sunday Mail Reporter,” claimed Chanakira together with Marondera businessman Ray Kaukonde have been financing a coup plot on Mugabe.
Chanakira, a devout Christian, on Sunday wrote saying he pities the faceless author who attacked him creating those allegations.
He wrote,
“There is a nasty front page article on me in the Sunday Mail. I pity and forgive the writer/s as my hero Christ was falsely accused and dealt with the allegations in such an exemplary manner. I remain His student.
“I appreciate all family and friends who have called, in boxed me and advised me that they are praying for me. I felt appreciated and trusted by you all and I won’t let you down on this one by God’s grace.
“For the record let me state categorically that it is fiction from my viewpoint. I actually was away on business for the best part of the last couple of weeks. I attended no such meetings and The Lord will vindicate me as my advocate.”

  1. A Christian who associate with ZANU PF? I feel sorry for you my brother but I doubt your Christianity.
