Pretoria – The South African pastor who last week caused an uproar after telling his church congregation to go and eat grass because ‘this is what God wants’ them to do before stamping on them, has spoken out for the first time.
ZimEye exclusively caught up with Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Centre Ministries (today)Sunday morning shortly before entering his church service. His church members last week dropped to the ground to eat the grass 
at his ministry in Garankuwa, north of Pretoria after being told it will ‘bring them closer to God.’ His controversial methods however drew criticism from thousands of people worldwide although members of his congregation swear by his instructions – he is said to have claimed that humans can eat anything to feed their bodies and survive on whatever they choose to eat.
Our reporter asked Pastor Lesego to explain and justify his motivation for telling his church folk to go and eat grass so to get close to God since in the Bible the only person who ate grass was a demon possessed mad King Nebuchadnezzar. He replied-
“Okay the Bible teaches us one thing. The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk its a matter of power. Paul says the Holy Spirit will confirm everything that I say, you get it? So it’s total demonstration of power nothing else but demonstration”.
When asked if he has point to any demonstration of power after the grass eating act, he replied.
“There are more demonstration than that, there are more demonstration than that,” he said, though without elaborating. He stated that he did not have time to explain everything but would do so soon when not in a hurry as he was going into a church service on Sunday morning.

I agree with you 100% Positive Thinking on this one. The issue is no longer about God’s power but just power as this pastor seems to suggest unless the reporter is telling things out of context without giving us the whole story. I want to believe these guys could have even eaten human waste if their pastor-prophet had told them to do so as a demonstration of power. Seems he is demonstrating the power he has upon his followers and not God’s power.What the Christian community has to understand is that not all power is from God because Jesus warned us that many will come in His name performing miracles and wonders but when we come before the judgement seat of Christ some will be condemned to hell despite them having done such miracles. What we need to do as Christians is to call upon God like Blind Ba-temaeus and say we want to see. For with divine sight we cant be fooled into believing every spirit. We need that spirit of discernment especially in these last and perilous days.
This so-called church is nothing but a CULT, and the so-called pastor is the cult leader!! One thing common to all cults is that the leader is invariably a CONTROL FREAK who controls everything that his flock does; and this state of affairs comes from systematic brain-washing. In no time the followers begin to take the leader as God, and whatever he says, whether or not Biblically supported or supportable, becomes law.
This should remind us that the true founder of any genuine church is Christ himself, and that the centrality of the Bible in teachings, doctrine, practice, etc is undisputed.

Hahahaha, this world has surely gone to the dogs. Some people are so blinded by faith & need for earthly things they forget to actually pray to the Lord. If these people are told to eat shit, they’ll surely do so without any moment’s hesitation.
