We are going to win against the government, teachers expressed confidence Friday morning as they headed to court for their fight against the cancellation of their leave allowance.
The case is being heard in the Judges’ Chambers in Harare, Friday morning the 29th at 10am (GMT 8am).
“We are convinced such a move by the Commission is an open attack on the workers and has to be fought legally and physically. We have to defend our gains at whatever cost,” the Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe said.
They however expressed caution saying they “…are however aware that there are several forces interested in the outcome of this matter,”
