By Staff Reporter The Harare City Council has unleashed soldiers on vendors to destroy their malls in Harare.

The brutal attacks on vendors and the demolition of their malls started Monday night at Budiriro 5B shops.

According to eyewitnesses and victims, the soldiers hired by the city council were accusing the vendors of polluting the environment.

Harare City Council was recently interdicted by the courts from evicting vendors.
