By Shylene Mtandwa| PDP leader and former Finance Minister, Tendai Biti says nothing has changed with the removal of former President Robert Mugabe

Writing on Sunday afternoon, Biti said “2017 is the most defining year of our lives.the year in which a big chapter was closed and a new one opened.

“But it has also become clear that the challenges of yesterday are still with us. That it will require much more than removing an individual before the country is free,” he wrote on his Twitter handle.

Is it true that nothing has changed?

  1. Mr Tendai Biti utters rubbish. ..how can a new Government in Office for 5 Weeks changes things to your own which? …Biti you are Double Idiot thus why you jump SADC and AU to sellout your Country to the mad Mcdonald Trump. ..

  2. A former finance minister should have at least applauded the issues tackled by Chinamasa in the budget statement, scrapping the Indigenous act, scrapping directors and chief’s cars, firing the youth melitia scrapping ECD etc increasing the budget by over 30%. He must also appreciate that this government in its short term has already secured $1,7 billion. What else would anyone want?

  3. Biti is an imbecile. Who can correct 37 years worth of damage in 5 weeks??? He can go back to America and ask for sanctions. kkkkkk

  4. Where in the world has a new government turned the economy round in five weeks? The problem with Zimbos is always critical and impatient. Let us give the new president a chance Mr Biti et al. Forty seven days into power and you expect milk and honey to start flowing already? Come on Mr Biti, you’re intelligent and know how running a country is miles apart running a family home!

  5. Shut up Biti you also went to America to soil the image of the country and tighten screws on our life style we will never forgive you for that.

  6. Its about time the MDC and all its affiliates stopped crying foul. Concentrate on the forthcoming elections which you the opposition as divided as you are will get a good lashing. Zanu PF will most likely rebrand itself and become even more stronger if between now and the elections they change from the Mugabe era.

  7. Iribhoo. we watch the space. Joice zvake akamhanyira kuita rake bato. that was her choice. ED akaramba kudzingwa naanaMafikezolo, hence the difference

  8. Man of the moment for those who follow the direction of the wind. Those who are principled will know that ED did what he did for himself not Zimbabweans. I would b taking my hat off if they had done this when
Joyce was fired. But instead he gladly joined the mocking of Joyce as he rose to become VP. Such a person is not worth of my trust. Anywhere we waiting for the results to show

  9. Anabiti, you want change even before your first pay in a new job? Thats why even your wife divorced you coz you cant even manage basic household economics. Senile brains. ED is man of the moment, ok

  10. This frothing fool is always fighting for unattainable political relevance. Why don’t you idiot give ED a chance?
