ZimEye.com brings out valued readers and viewers the latest updates on the hospital crisis following the nurses’ strike which began yesterday.

As the strike continued, senior nurses at the country’s main referral hospital, Parirenyatwa downed tools. This was revealed in a letter early Tuesday morning. ZimEye.com contacted the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer’s office and the man simply replied saying, “no comment.”

A letter which ZimEye reveals below the video exposed the situation. (SEE BELOW).

Junior nurses are striking for better pay and working conditions, chief of which are complaints about low medicine supplies and facilities supply at the country’s hospitals nationwide.

At Mvuma Hospital Tuesday morning there was not a single sign of a nurse and patients were found struggling outside one of the wards. ZimEye this morning brings the pictorial update.
