By Terrence Mawawa| Exactly 5 months later, the man whose face brings shivers of fear and also pain on the exiled professor Jonathan Moyo’s mind; the man who announced the military takeover of government mid November last year, has told the prof Moyo, and his colleagues they can come back home.
There was drama filled with near death total trepidation on the 15th November when while Gen Sibusiso Moyo announced that the military had taken over government, Jonathan Moyo was caught the middle of open gunfire while sleeping at his colleague Saviour Kasukuwere’s house and only rescued by former First Lady Grace Mugabe’s CIOs. This time 5 months later, yesterday, in what appeared like a bid to promote unity and reconciliation, the new Government urged former President Robert Mugabe’s allies who are in political exile to return home.

Foreign Affairs Minister Sibusiso Moyo told Bloomberg News those in exile were free to return home.
Moyo however said members of Mugabe’s Cabinet must account for any crimes that might have been committed.
Said Dr Moyo, ” We have not chased anyone out of Zimbabwe. If you have got anything to account for, then you have got to come back to account to the people of Zimbabwe,” he said.
