MDC supporters have defended cornered Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora whose daughter Isabel is an integral member of the Thokozani Khupe camp.

Yesterday Mwonzora was attacked for letting her daughter “rebel against the main camp.”

However Mwonzora vehemently argued that he did not have the mandate to control the political activities of his daughter.

MDC stalwarts are not happy with the fact that Mwonzora’ s daughter is aligned to the Khupe camp.

Charlie Jones yesterday wrote on Twitter: “Leave Mwonzora alone, everyone of us has relatives in Zanu PF and other parties.”

“Stop besmirching Mwonzora what has he done?” wrote Leader Chinja on Facebook.
