By Own Correspondent| The just appointed Thokozani Khupe party spokesperson, Linda Masarira has said she is plotting to replace her new boss.
Masarira was appointed to the position of party spokesperson at Khupe’s Congress at the weekend amid much controversy.
In a leaked sms WhatsApp conversation, Masarira two days ago told a well known UK activist and colleague, she is after replacing Khupe.
She even said she has already taken charge of Khupe’s party, barely 5 days into its formation. – LISTEN TO THE BELOW INTERVIEW –
ZimEye has verified the below chat as authentic and interviewed Miss Delina Mutyambizi, the recipient of the declaration. ZimEye also contacted Linda Masarira to respond on the matter.
She declared, “I am looking at the bigger picture sis Delina, of having a critical mass rallying behind me. I want to run for presidency in 2023 its a strategic move which I can’t openly speak about. It’s hard gathering the masses support as an independent. Zimbabwe hasn’t matured enough. There are a lot principle(s) and values that I have instilled in the rebranded MDC-T.”
