By Staff Reporter| A Zimbabwean mother who suddenly died at the end of March has had her bank accounts looted.

Martha Chaparanganda, 50, suddenly passed on on the 27th March at St James Hospital in Leeds.

Just after her death, about £9,000 was allegedly looted from Martha’s bank accounts. She was a Social Worker who ran her own company.

The people who looted her money were not known at the time of writing.

The causes of death have been listed as the following:

  • Multi Organ Failure.
  • Sepsis  Streptococcus, Pneumoniae.
  • Asplenism.

Some relatives are concerned because there is a rush by other relatives to whisk the body out of the UK before all investigations (including a postmortem) have been conducted.

Her brother told ZimEye.com “they want to take the body out of the UK without a postmortem being done.”

ZimEye is carrying out this investigation Friday afternoon and family members are being assisted by UK solicitor Dr Masimba Mavaza. –
