Intelligence officials in Zvishavane are closely monitoring former First Grace Mugabe’s son, Russel Goreraza, who is reportedly sponsoring one, Dumezweni Mahwite’ s political activities.

Mahwite, a declared G-40 member is vying for the Zvishavane- Ngezi Parliamentary Seat.Zvishavane District is President Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s home area.

Impeccable Zanu PF sources yesterday claimed Goreraza was spotted in the area where he held a secret meeting with Mahwite.

Although Goreraza has distanced himself from political activities in the area, Zanu PF sources insist the former First Lady’ s son is Mahwite’ s chief financier.

“Goreraza is bankrolling Mahwite’ s political programmes.Above all the two are also business partners.

We spotted Goreraza in the constituency a few weeks ago,” claimed ruling party sources in the area.
