A senior Zanu PF official has disclosed the major secret behind the ruling party’ s unprecedented political dominance.

Speaking at a public debate on the coming General Elections in Masvingo last week, Zanu PF Central Committee member, Clemence Makwarimba bragged about his party’ s no nonsense approach to the voter registration exercise.The public debate was facilitated by Community Tolerance Reconciliation and Development(COTRAD).

Makwarimbwa denied opposition supporters were forced to submit their voter registration serial numbers.

“Our strategy is simple, we always make sure that all our members are registered voters. Remember it is a game of numbers.

We are very strict about the voter registration process.

When we asked our members to submit their serial numbers, we simply wanted to gauge our support base- nothing else,” said Makwarimba.

“Zanu PF has never rigged elections.Our party simply uses game changing tactics,” boasted Makwarimba.
