President Emmerson Mnangagwa had to cancel his rally that was scheduled for Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo today because he had been advised Nelson Chamisa would be addressing MDC Alliance supporters in Masvingo District on the same day.

“Mnangagwa has cancelled his Masvingo Star Rally fearing that he would be humiliated by a low turnout.

Since Chamisa, is also conducting rallies in Masvingo the President has decided to move the rally to another date,” ruling party sources said yesterday.

Mnangagwa is likely to address party members on Sunday, according to impeccable Zanu PF sources.
