By Lionel Saungweme | There was drama when three women arrested a man who allegedly stole a cellphone from them over three days before. VIDEO:

After grabbing the smartphone from the woman in black, the man is alleged to have quickly sold the cellphone to an unsuspecting third party. A day after, luck ran out when his female victim spotted him near Bulawayo Service Station in the city centre. Fearing mob justice, the man acquiesced after his victim and two other young women arrested him.

As the women dragged their suspect, the man kept begging for time to return his “loot.” The women, who would have none of his pleas, kept marching towards the nearby police station in Bulawayo.

“Ngiyakubisela ifoni yakho (I will return your phone) please,” begged the man. The woman dressed in black replied saying, “Wawuvele ucabangani utshontsha (What were you thinking about when you stole )?”

The man’s pleas fell on deaf ears as the angry women continued their march.

The embarrassed man was then pushed into the Bulawayo Central Police station, and a loud crowd demanding justice following behind.

“Kabotshwe, kabotshwe (Arrest him, arrest him),” shouted the mob.

After arrival at Bulawayo Central Police Station, police dispersed the crowd. – ZimEye
