Police in Masvingo have blocked an aspiring opposition MP from carrying out campaign activities.

Although President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said in the new dispensation, political parties are allowed to campaign freely, ZRP cops have banned Build Zimbabwe Coalition aspiring MP for Masvingo Central Constituency, Ranganai Pazorora from carrying out a free medical outreach programme in the area.

Pazozora has sponsored medical doctors to provide free services in the constituency.

Sources in the area said ZRP cops from Muchakata Police Station ordered the medical doctors to stop their operations without stating the reasons for doing so.

A disgruntled Pazorora expressed frustration at the ZRP cops’ overt bias and partisan conduct.
