Impressive Baroka FC winger Talent Chawapiwa won the Man of the match award in a 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old talented Zimbabwean was in top form yesterday, making crucial contributions from his flank despite his team failing to convert the crosses and setups he delivered especially in the second half. He also created numerous chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.
In a post-match interview with SuperSport TV, Chawapiwa who was receiving his second successive MOTM accolade lamented the Limpopo side’s finishing in front of goal.
“Firstly I want to thank God for today, it’s now the second (Man of the Match Award) in a row,” said Chawapiwa.
“Going back to the match I think in the second half we did better because of the instructions of the coach. The coach told us what we were not doing,” he said.
“That has been our main problem (scoring goals). In every game we get so many chances but our finishing is very poor. I think we’re going to work on it in the upcoming games,” he added.
