Lloyd Mutasa is a worried man, despite Sunday’s 2-0 over Highlanders in an inauguration challenge match.
Mutasa said he is worried about his side’s two
games – against big teams – which have been postponed so far.
DeMbare have two games in hand, against Highlanders and CAPS United and Mutasa admits those games are putting him under pressure.
“This issue of our matches being postponed is really affecting us in terms of our preparations.
“It is really a setback when you train and prepare for a match then you don’t play. It means you will have
to start all over again,” said Mutasa.
The DeMbare coach said they are now working under pressure.
“We are now working under a lot of pressure because we are two matches behind against big
teams (Highlanders and CAPS United) but we will try to work on winning those matches,” he said.
Mutasa was, however, pleased by his side’s performance yesterday.
“I think the boys did well in the President’s inauguration cup and we are happy with the result as a team, it means something to us.
“We have two big fixtures ahead of us and those games need energy and proper planning,” he said
adding “Right now our prayer is that players don’t pick injuries or any kind of hindrances because we need to be in full swing for both games.
“We really need to plan ahead and right now we are working under pressure.”
Mutasa is expecting Kingston Nkhatha who is expected to start work on September 1 after sorting
out work permit.
“Nkhatha will join the squad on the 1st of September, we are almost done with the sorting out of his

permits,” he said- H Metro
