Terrence Mawawa|There was commotion at Golden Hill Mine in Mashava last week when a Zanu PF activist produced a gun and threatened to shoot mine workers.

Martin Chadzamira stormed the mine premises and threatened to shoot workers arguing they were operating illegally at his farm.Martin Chadzamira is an uncle to Masvingo Provincial Affairs State Minister Ezra Chadzamira.

“Martin produced a 303 Rifle and threatened to shoot workers at Golden Hill Mine.

One of the workers called us and we rushed to the mine. We managed to disarm Martin Chadzamira who claimed the workers were carrying out illegal mining activities,” police sources said.

Ezra Chadzamira was not immediately available for a comment on the matter.
