Terrence Mawawa| Club Brugge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba featured in his first UEFA Champions League encounter last night against Atletico Madrid.

The debut, however, was not a pleasant one as the Brugges went 3-1 down.

The Warriors international started on the bench and came on as a 56th-minute substitute for Siebe Schrijvers. His contribution was limited since Madrid were in control until the last minute.

The encounter was Nakamba’s second this season after recovering from a knee injury- which had ruled him out for over three months.
